This change will apply to all applications to register one or more of the above transactions lodged on or after 3 March 2008. The guide explains what kind of supporting evidence you will need to provide and how to have your identity verified. Our guide and ID forms can be downloaded free of charge from our website or obtained from any of our local offices. Please be aware that it is not necessary to personally take your application to a Land Registry office. Public Guide 20 explains how to obtain evidence of identity if you wish to send your application by post. We hope that you will understand why evidence of identity is needed and why, without this evidence, we will be unable to accept your application for registration. |
